I remember going to my grandma’s as a kid, and she had one of those nut bowls. I never find them, but I do have some vintage nut tools for whenever I do.
Not too much to talk about …
I purchased some vintage clothing in an auction maybe two years ago, and they’ve been selling little by little. This jacket was some kind of work in progress with the word “SAMPLE” stamped in the inside. I figured it was weird enough that someone would eventually want it. Paid less than $1, sold for $25.

A neighbor was throwing this rug out, so I grabbed it off their curb. Just checked shipping, and it appears to be stuck at my post office. It’s supposed to go to Nebraska. Hopefully, the buyer didn’t wanted to use it for the holidays.

This vase was one of my commission items. I believe that it is a Haag vase, but I couldn’t find exactly the same scene in my research, and the markings didn’t show the manufacturer. I set the price higher than others, and either I priced it too low or I right priced it, because it sold overnight to someone collecting these types of vases.

Oh, I can add this:
My husband ordered some furnace filters off Amazon, and the seller sent the wrong ones. They refunded us and didn’t request that we send it back. I sold them at about half price.

several sales last week and two returns?! I suppose it was bound to happen with the returns as I really haven’t had any yet.
Sold an electronic backgammon game that I have had for 20 years and since it was new. Sold with travel case and instructions. Purchaser says no instructions showed up and said it will only show an open screen. Despite explaining she needs to press the reset button on the bottom and asking her to look again for the instructions Ebay says I have to accept a return as the buyer is claiming it doesn’t work.
Also sold a book and the buyer asked to return, even though she admitted she bought the wrong one. I went ahead and said yes as she will have to pay the shipping.
