My sales have taken off this week and April has been my best sales month of 2020, which I definitely did not expect.
My best sale was an Eskandar oversized sweater. I looks like a basic baggy sweater and most are one size fits all. I paid 50 cents and it sold for $99.99 in less than 2 days.
I sold 6 swimsuits this week. I guess we’re all ready for summer to start. I bought 100s of higher end NWT swimsuits back in 2017 when Bargain Hunt bought semis full of clothing from Nordstroms and other retailers and then sold every piece of clothing for $5 no matter what the brand or the original price. I could have bought so much more. It’s taken me almost 3 years but I’m almost out of swimsuits.

No access to Ebay Seller Hub down here in the Atlanta area. the “DownMap” shows a yellow circle in the Atlanta area. Yellow being the least severe outage. No Orange or Red in Georgia.
Is Ebay down for anybody else? We haven’t been able to access our Seller Hub for a few hours. Get a “Sorry, We Are Working on It” message. No shipping labels or order access.

MDC – I’ve been able to access all parts of eBay up here in Rome, GA. I’m currently listing and I printed a label approx 20 minutes ago. However, I have found the internet in general to be quite slow today, regardless of what site I’m on.

Seller Hub back up now in DC but it was down earlier here, too. I was able to print labels by searching for the sold item and when the listing page came up it allowed me the option of going to print the label.

Thanks Julie. I knew you were up around Rome from past convo’s with you. I Was hoping you would chime in. There are a couple of other members that are from the Atlanta area on SL.
We did do a router re-boot and reconnected all wireless devices and so far everything is running fine except Ebay / Seller Hub. Guess I will just give it a little while.
Thanks.

Mike: No problem here and you know I am basically in your area. Might be something specific to your internet service? I printed one label this morning. We have comcast.

I did have a good week of sales, but most were regular run of the mill stuff. Here are a few that I thought were more interesting, but not necessarily my highest priced.
I purchased this walking stick at an auction earlier this year for $5.75. It sold on offer to buyers for $28. The buyer didn’t seem to understand how to pay and kept asking whether they could pay with this type of gift card or another. Finally, the sale went through, and I hope she isn’t difficult after she receives it.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184185078407I found a glitch with the offer to buyers function. I had clicked on three items to do a small 5% off. I decided to unclick one of the items, so I went back, unclicked the one, and then pressed make offer. I did not realize that the default was now the sale price instead of a percentage off. This cobalt blue Fenton vase ended up selling for $5. Oops. I quickly ended and re-listed the other item so that it couldn’t be sold for the same price.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184014904067I just like old books although they don’t always sell for much. I saw this 1929 interior decorating student book at the last day of an estate sale where everything was $1. It sold for $23, although the shipping was included (I think $4ish).
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184007928018For some reason, my dad decided, in his old age, to get a license to own and carry a gun in Florida. He bought some holsters a few years ago that didn’t work for him. They’ve been sitting in my basement since last summer because I didn’t know much about them. I heard that there has been a run on guns due to the pandemic, so I thought I’d list them now. This Fobus holster sold for $17. The other one is a lesser known name and hasn’t sold yet.
