Wasn’t there a post recently in the forum about superstitions? Like touching something that’s been in your store for years, and then it finally sells? Your second boombox sale seemed to follow that trend.
I paid about $1.50 for this really nice suede coat in an auction lot, around the beginning of the year. I had lots of interest in it, but the actual sale took awhile. Sold for $34.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/183758507682I kept hearing about an estate sale on Facebook, and they extended it out several times. I finally went on the last day, which was a Tuesday. They had some free items in the yard, and I picked out these shot glasses because they looked pretty cool. Apparently, they are, and I sold the three for $18.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/184009183901A friend of my parents gave me this Hartmann suit luggage to sell. He had bought it in the early 90s, but never used it. It sold for $100.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/183900300422I bring this patch up only because the forum here helped me figure it out. It is an army patch from the WWII timeframe. Sold for $10. Paid very little, maybe a quarter.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/183695491445A few weeks ago, I decided to list some of my whiskey pitchers on Etsy since I had so many. I listed my items with free shipping. However, the buyer paid shipping because it was an international sale. It sold for $33, and then I saved $10 by using Pirate Ship. I paid about a quarter.

Nice tip on the Boom Box Steve, and great to see the pitchers selling so well Sharon! My Father was a Seagram’s salesman forever and I grew up with those pitchers and other give aways, and plenty of cases of everything in our very popular garage. Ah, the good ole days!
Last week was big & bulky week with a sprinkling of small item surprise sales.
I only paid $5 for this rusty old Hallowell cubby cabinet yet it was a mammoth to carry out of a crowded flea, a beast to photograph, and a bear to ship. My right wrist still aches from packing as I type more than a week after shipment. It sold for $200, plus an extra $25 profit shipping by FedEx.

Steve sold a cleaned up Costo one last week for around the same price. Interesting comparison of buyers tastes between cleaned up and roached.

Sold for $80!

Cost was zero, just a trinket floating around from a long ago big buyout.

Thanks Steve for all the videos. I really enjoy them
I hardly ever post my what sold but thought I would include a few this week
I used to do really well with games but they’re harder to find and don’t sell for as much as they used to. I did have a couple of game sales this week. This one was really nice. Found at a family run estate sale for $1. https://www.ebay.com/itm/323787066929
One of my favorite items to sell is flatware. I love it when I find the Town & Country Washington Forge wooden handle flatware. This one was made in Taiwan but it still sold well. Paid $4 at a thrift. https://www.ebay.com/itm/323966682225
Here’s a sale that was kind of unusual. I love fabric, especially any that’s a little different. I found 2 (1 yard) pieces of Ghastlies fabric for $1 each. One sold during the summer for around $50 and this one sold to someone in France. https://www.ebay.com/itm/323684202920
I like DVDs and CDs since they don’t take up much space. I found these DVDs at an estate sale for $1 each. I wasn’t sure how well they’d do so I left some at the estate sale. Once I got home I wished I had bought all of them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/323963190733
Happy Thanksgiving to all and I hope your 4th quarter sales are great

Nice sales, I’ve sold that King Oil game as well, seems to be a hard to find classic.

I finally got around to making a what sells video! Isn’t very good quality at all, but will work on it going forward and do the best I can with an iPhone.

Giving this “what sold” video a try. This covers two weeks of sales and is my first ever what sold video. I’m playing with the idea of haul videos/’what’s new’ videos/what sold videos.
