  I found these two interesting pieces of art at an estate sale. I also got the guy’s high school year books. It looks like he was in an American School in Mexico City in 1966 and 1967. So, based on that, I would guess that he bought these while he was there in the 1960’s. Is this just 1960’s Mexican Folk Art? Is it older than that? Is it just a piece that the street sellers sell today in Mexico? Let me know what you think?

  Cool dog vase. This is definitely not a genuine pre-columbian piece. It looks like red clay that was antiqued with iron oxide or some clay slip before being fired. My guess is for sure it was made 1940’s or later. Good luck with the listing and sale!
