Cost of Items Sold: $135

Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $45
Number of items listed this week: 13So I had a lot of people use my 5% off coupon. I think Ebay may have showed it to everyone looking at my items, not just the 350 or so people who bought from me recently. Hard to know then if it was a success or not. If it was all previous customers, that would have been a big success. I’m making pretty aggressive offers and my discounts were stacked last weekend.
Fell down on listing but I have been successful in trying to list at least a few items each day while I prep for the big farm market.
I have not sold any of my 85 items cross posted to poshmark yet. I got one ok offer but countered. I’m not sure that I have all of the settings turned on for sharing and whatnot. Some were not available during my trial period. After the show this weekend I plan to cross post a lot more items to Posh.
Have a great week!

I decided to run another coupon and noticed there is a box to unclick if you don’t want your coupon to be public. This week I’m trying a “private coupon” which I assume means just the buyer group you choose to target.

@ChristineR If you chose Private AND you then chose a specific buyer group (or groups) ebay will only show those people your coupon.
However, what ebay never seems to mention is that IF one of those people—just as an example—posts your coupon info to , say, his Facebook page, anyone seeing it can use it to buy from you. Which is fine by me, but not all sellers are aware of this. I usually put limits on the total that can be redeemed, the duration , etc.

@mycottage thanks. So far much less response to the private coupon. I’d be ok w the few shares I would get.

I tried using private offers in the past with very limited success. I’m trying a variation soon. I sell on a Facebook Group and don’t mention my ebay stuff there. However, I just got permission to add an ebay coupon with my packing slips when I send packages to my FB Group buyers. Will this do any good? I don’t know. But I figure it can’t hurt LOL
I might print out the default coupon ebay provides , but I would much prefer a coupon design that makes the coupon stand out a bit more, so I will probably end up fooling around with Canva or one of those programs. Or maybe ChatGPT.
When I was first trying coupons, I basically begged ebay to give us some coupon customization ability, and I got the usual response ” Great idea! We’ll take that back to the team” LOL

@mycottage I heard a suggestion on a podcast this week that you put a pretty much permanent coupon in all of your feedback for buyers, which is public. Every once in a while you would need to refresh the campaign using the same unique code.
