Hey Guys, I did a search for this company in the forum search and didn’t see anything, so I figured I’d mention this. I come across old Polaroid cameras all the time and noticed a particular eBay user is always making offers on the cameras within hours of listing. Turns out, it’s a company called Retrospekt and I when I checked out their website, I found that they will buy cameras from you directly.
Here is a pricing guide for the types of cameras they buy and how much they’ll pay you. I think you have to pay for shipping, so it’s probably best to wait until you have several cameras to send them so you can pay for shipping once. Seems like they pay pretty good prices compared to what you can sell the cameras for on eBay.

I have sold to them, they contacted me through eBay messages on listed cameras.
I may start selling multiples to them if I can accumulate a few.
I wish they would buy the other models that don’t use 600 film as I find those all the time, they’re worthless right now. -

I heard about them and gave them a call, but, yeh, the camera I had is not worth much. It’s still up for sale for all of $13.

I’ve sold several cameras to them.
In order to keep shipping costs down (California to Wisconsin) I place it in a (7 X 5 X 4) modified box and then squeeze the box into a USPS Flat rate padded envelope.
I’ve sent at least 5 or 6 cameras to them with no breakage.

Those of you who have sent cameras to them, do they often downgrade the quality on cameras? Or do you get what you expect they are worth?
Polaroids used to be our bread and butter back in 2010. Now its crickets.

I haven’t had that issue with them. They accept every one I send.

I’ve sold all mine through regular Ebay listings.
Everything has been fine and they leave positive feedback quickly.

I’ve sold to them before.
I agree with Jay. polaroid cameras a couple years ago sold like hot cakes. Now, it takes FOREVER. I think it has to do with the fact that you can buy brand new polaroid style cameras at Walmart again.

I have been hoarding my Polaroid cameras because I have avoided having to test them.
Looks like this is my chance to cash in! I have a whole container full of them, but all may not be 600’s. I will have to go through them and send in the ones they are looking for.

Looks like I have a possible $400 worth to send in! I have $225 for their any condition (all great condition, they said on the one that they can’t be broken) and $175 in ones where it is dependent upon condition.
I called them because I had some not listed. They said they do take the Sun 600’s, but they are only taking Impulse Auto Focus only (no other types of Impulse right now).

It is a lot of work packing up 14 of these cameras, but it is worth it for $400.

That’s a nice chunk of change for something you just had sitting around :). Glad someone found this post useful!
