My number of sales went up from 4 last week to 5 this week, but my total sales went up by over $200! I had some interesting sales, which I will discuss on @Craig-Rex post.
I forgot to adjust the total items in my store from all my delisting for the auction, so I fixed that for this week.
Week of Feb 9 – 15
Total Items in Store: 1537 eBay, 35 Etsy
Items Sold: 5 eBay
Cost of Items Sold: $20 + $0 Commission
Total Sales: $289.44 eBay
Highest Price Sold: eBay $120 for Laurie Gates tableware from 3 different listings: 6 Salad Plates 6 Bowls 4 Mugs
Average price: $57.89
Returns: 0
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $0
Number of items listed this week: 0My MaxSold auction will have to be moved out to next month. I’m up to 63 lots, and it is slow moving. I’m getting over a cold as well this week, so that won’t help.
I started setting up lots with unlisted items and large items that have been in my inventory for a long time. Instead of each item being its own listing, I am grouping similar items for the auction. I’ve found lots of space in my basement, and I could probably move things over to one side so that the workout area could be created; however, I want to get the auction ready first.
Thing is, my inventory decreased from about 1780-ish when I started to 1537 now plus about 8 items removed from Etsy. That’s only about 250 items removed, and I wanted to get down to 1000 or less on eBay. I think I just have lots of small stuff, and I won’t get the big space savings if I delist, so I haven’t. I still have some clothes and books I want to remove, and I can dig again through the kitchenware, but I don’t think I will meet my target.
I also want to get to about 100 lots in the auction, so about 40 more. I think I only have maybe 15 or so from my inventory, so the rest will be our own items. I need to get to the attic over our garage next weekend.

2025 projected total sales $75,533.71Twas a rough week last week with all the kids sick plus me going down. I put my store on time away all week so I didn’t have to worry about ebay, but sales could still come in. Still a decent week all things considered. I have plenty of shipping to catch up on now. Still don’t feel 100%, but good enough to function.
I didn’t expect ebay to be such a backburner so far this year. I only have so many hours in the day and I have so much going on – ebay will always be the thing that gets bumped. I effectively lost 2 days of the week to basketball so it is to be expected. The terrible weather we have had complicates my situation even more. Basketball ends on March 8th, but then my oldest son starts soccer that same day. No baseball this year though so hopefully one kid in sports for the spring is manageable.
This week I’ll try to get some drafts done on my lunch break at work. I’m needing to clear up some space in my garage so my son can get on the elliptical every day in prep for soccer. Gotta get that done this week if possible.

Number of items listed this week: 23Had one really solid day of sales this Saturday after getting back to listing but it’s been fairly slow otherwise. I’m noting that my sell similar reset did not work as well as when I did it after the election. So I broke the Pinterest links kind of for not a lot of return. I probably will wait longer to do a reset. Also perhaps reset at times of the year when sales are starting to ramp up after a slower period, rather than when fewer people are shopping. I did sell a few older items and some items I had just listed.
This week is a particularly uneventful week in our lives and I hope for a great listing week! The puppy accidentally hurt my finger while we were playing so not a great week for sorting the “money piles”.
