We actually had a much better week than expected while we were on vacation. Usually we expect sales to drop when on “time away” but sales were steady.

————NOT a great week on Ebay, then totally dead this week before the election. After the election results, I started a sale and did a full store reset with sell similar. I’ve been able to send about 100 offers this week, with some sales of older items since Wednesday. I’m running a 25% discount total. I wasn’t able to list as much as I wanted last week due to some family stuff, but I’m really back in the mood to grind this weekend and week. I have a large box of Christmas left that I’m working on now. The big retailers keep running extra % off sales and I picked up a little more of that this week. Should have that all posted by today. Reselling seems tougher for me but I still love it.
Over on Mercari, had a huge problem with a scammer on a new pair of headphones my daughter didn’t want. Mercari used to be amazing and fast with their CS. Now, it’s a s+8!show. I won’t be listing any high dollar stuff on there, which is too bad. They removed easy fields where you can reach them, have technical problems, and it’s designed to make it harder to get help. Reps not good either. Sadly, I guess this is kind of the swan song which is a bummer since they made it easy to import items recently. Good for Ebay I suppose.
Have cross-posted some Christmas and glassware on District.net. No sales over there recently. I think I have about 80 total. Mid-December or late January I might post some lots for sale on Commons, the District store for selling to lots to other resellers. @Craig they have people selling your kind of stuff in there.
A few things at a time I’m able to lift and organize. When I’m all better I really need to consolidate boxes and do inventory, then take some low dollar to the flea market. While doing sell similar I happened to spot a ghost listing (and item I sold up for sale again.) A lot of my items are so old I forget if they are still around or not.

Jay & Ryanne – So where did you go on vacation?
I had an average week. I’m really still chugging away trying to list all my inventory and not buying anything. I need to start work on that online auction sometime soon. The plan is to get more hours on my career job and cut back on eBay.
My big sale this week belonged to my son. It was given to him when he graduated from the VoTech. They had a grant where they gave him tools and work clothes, but they didn’t have shoes in his size (8), so they gave him a half size too large.
I noticed that I missed a return from last week’s numbers. An eBay international sale item broke in transit, and the buyer was refunded.

Hello Scavenger peeps!
Haven’t been here in a long time! I retired last year figured I would sell some stuff on ebay for some extra income. Recently things have been crazy slow! Only a couple sales a week.
Thought i would stop over here and see how you all were doing. Better than me it looks like!

Halloween week was super busy at home as we did a haunted house. Normally we only get up to 5 trick or treaters at our house as we are in the VERY back of a pretty spread out subdivision with big lots. This year we had 75-100 trick or treaters who made the trek out to see the haunted house. Here’s a link to a walkthrough of what we did this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9eH6WRjN8o
Please drop a positive comment if you watch the video. That’s my kids youtube channel and they really get a kick out of getting comments.
I’m the Among Us character. I had a remote inside my costume to control some special lighting all around the room that didn’t come through very well in the video. It was like 87 degrees on halloween – I sweated my butt off in that costume!
It was alot of hard work as we expanded from a single room and a walking graveyard to add another 10×10 shelter AND a 10×20 shelter this year! Next year we’ll keep the same footprint but change out some rooms and (hopefully) have the last 2 rooms actually complete.
Premium Hoarder update:
Sold 11 items for $1384.
I sold alot of premium sweaters this week. Hopefully they keep selling as winter moves in!
