2025 projected total sales $60,652.22I did a BUNCH of listing this week but didn’t get to photograph everything. I had 58 new listings but my draft bank ready for photos GREW to 120.
My big project this week was to move the contents of a storage rack of unlisted items that is in my inventory shed into the garage to clear up space for LISTED inventory. In the process the scope expanded a bit since I had a few hours break from rain. I ended up doing a bunch of cleanup/ reorganizing in the garage – specifically going through a long covered up set of shelves of unlisted items. I ended up listing some of the higher dollar items as I went along, as well as tossing a few low dollar and/or low demand items. While I thought I was nearly caught up on my shoes death pile I found 7 bins on the wall storage shelves! I’ll keep on listing shoes until I’m all caught up.
I have a clear path to keep working now, but it does still require some time shifting items around. My end goal is to reclaim some space in my garage. I have 6 rolling storage carts in the garage and I want to reduce that to 4. What is the point of having these carts if they don’t have LISTED inventory on them?
I still have a lot of reorganizing to do in my inventory shed. The kind of reorganizing I need to do requires a solid dedicated 2-4 hours and good weather. That kind of time/weather commitment is NOT easy to come by in my life, so I keep limping along. Every item I sell is one less item I have to reorganize so I’ll just keep limping!

I finally found time to go to some rummage sales this past week. I must be a bit rusty because I found one of the items had a chip when I got home, but the rest I bought will make up for the $2 wasted. I had some buyer’s remorse after buying a box of vintage tools, but I felt much better once doing the research. I really enjoy the old tools. I also enjoy buying rusty hooks or chains and then listing them for $25 or more. This I learned from someone who no longer posts here. I don’t remember the username, but he was located in Florida.
Anyway, still very slow. Maybe better sales this week since I have a bunch of drafts for these new purchases. I still have a small death pile from before my auction, but I am still listing those items as I can.

Items in Store: 1200
Items Sold: 46 Ebay, 1 FBM, 1 Bonanza
Gross Sales: $1350.67
COGS: $65-ish
Net Sales: $905.13

Money spent on new inventory: $278Highest price sold: $200 (Levi Strauss cocktail glasses)
This week felt quiet, even though the number say otherwise. I didn’t list at all on Wednesday and barely any on Thursday because I had to go out of town.
I bought a lot of new stuff from online auctions. Two good finds: the Levi Strauss glasses went for full asking price. I got those for $20 from an auction. At another auction pickup, they were having a last-minute “picker sale”, for all the stuff deemed not worthy for the online sale. I spent $25 on two banker boxes of vintage Christmas ornaments and a small box of high-end cabinet hardware. The hardware should bring $200-250, and the Christmas ornaments should bring about $150.
My average sales price is low, but most of what I’m selling these days is small (tiny Christmas ornaments, vacuum cleaner parts, yarn) that I have maybe 25-50 cents into. They’re also easy to ship, so it’s feels like zero stress when these things sell.
