Morning Has anyone sucessusfully linked ebay store with an online store that works. I had ebay store messed up in global shipping got shut out for six months, back in play 3500 items top rated 100% rating 1 day shipp all going well
But is there a way that i could build any online store along side my ebay store linking inventories – I have put tremendous work in loading products last time ebay deleted it all. While i am doing great with it like to begin another store that i could build that in 2- 5 years would be generating income – has anyone done that. Kind of Insurancelove your podcast have guided me in my store
thanks darlene

Yes, those are supposedly services where you could create your own store on your own site.
Not sure how eBay would sync to it.Have you googled it?

It looks like there are quite a few apps that will sync a shopify store with an eBay store:
https://apps.shopify.com/integrations/ebayYou mentioned that eBay closed your eBay store once.
What was the violation? -

I was tryng to sell about 6-8 hats in Austrailia they could not combine shipping so i deleted them and made a lot of them then custormer bought them thru ebay global shipping program.
my store was shut down all communication with ebay was i was not the type of seller they wanted – so closd my store and would not let me access my listings – six months later i started gettin emails why i wasnt selling more
so i reopened and walking softly but when they shut me down had about 900 listings, now i am at 3500
had to start from scratch

I also went on vacation to england for two weeks, put store on vacation
I was a above standard rating when we left then shut down when we got back.
I found ink frog it will back up listings, 30 month, had volusion store but they cannot importfrom ebay
but opened volusion store for six months while i was out only made one sale. So when ebay said i could return jumped on it.I will look at shopify, just want to find something that works, i dont want to jeoparidize my ebay acct trying to experiment.
Starting a new sight requires time to get out of google sandbox, i never did in the six months i was out, from scavenger life i will now also adjust my handling time to match vacation time
Thanks

eBay shut your entire store down because you tried to sell 6-8 hats to Australia?
I’m confused about the actual issue.
Why was this a problem?I only ask because all eBay sellers are curious when someone is shut down. We all want to avoid that issue.

The only thing they would tell me was, my customer wanted 6 of my listings, they did not at the time offer combined shipping. I deleted my listings, than created a new listing of all six hats and then processed them thru global shipping. That’s all they would tell me Been a customer since 2008. Didn’t seem to matter I came back up maybe 3-4 months ago. Upon googling it I wondered also if my volums were very low so I might not of been abig loss to them.
But they would not budge I contacted them many times
This is all info they would give me –
But I was never contacted of any issues till it was shut down
Thanks for everyones thoughts

I’m sorry your store got shut down.
The only reasons I’ve seen for a store being shut down are:
–consistently shipping late
–selling counterfeit items
–cancelling too many transactions
–refusing to deal customer issues, and eBay having to get involved to settle the situations. -

I’ve been looking for a piece of software that would let me create listings in bulk and then send those listings to several different eCommerce sites at once (ebay, amazon, etsy, Bonanza, etc). It also has to be reasonably priced….meaning cheap.
Does such a beast exist???-

We discussed this week about our experience with Shopify (short answer: didnt work for our needs).
Sounds like you need to do some experimenting and then report back to us.

Just an update on experiment
I did trial on shopify built website to receive product. Started googling their ebay importer. found quite few problems.
Tried Ink frog and it has favorable reviews for inventory control – syncing ebay and shopify but i was in contact with shopify support and also ink frog. Shopify support admitted their imorter had diddiculties. Ink Frogs support said it could maintain syn beteen stors but it could not do the inital load. Thst is where Shopify was week
So i canceled my shopify acct and also ink frog – didnt want to jeoparidize my ebay store.
Last year had loaded maybe 900 used hats into volusion store i only sold one hat. I had google analytics tracking it. but was getting no traffic. Maybe 500-600 hits to website in all the months i had it open.
I also called volusion since i had experience building store there but they had no ebay importer
Remember – i am experimenting. I have been narrowing down my ebay store to mostly baseball caps. that is working for me and have expanded it to postcards since i listened to spinache eater. so couple of days ago i found this website and am listing my postcards. on my ebay store and also her. I have made no sales yet curious to see if it sync inventory correctly. It did pull all my inventory properly. I have watched as i am listing in ebay the other store is updated quickly within minutes. I will post more as i know again experiment
Everone have a happy new year

All we want is a solution to allow us to do “buyable pins” on Pinterest. It’s confusing why there isnt an elegant solution to sync our current eBay store with buyable pins.
If you find a solution, let us know.

Darlene,
The web store you set up looks great. I am, however, a little confused. What are you using for the web store you currently have up? Shopify, Volusion, or something else? I’d love to know.I find it hard to believe that we can launch rockets into space but no one has come up with a simple inexpensive way to take current inventory (or list new) and send that data to several ecommerce sites to upload. I’ve used Amazons listing templates to upload hundreds of books onto their platform and it is VERY similar to the CSV files ebay uses with “File exchange” or even “Turbo Lister”. Surely its similar with ETSY, Sites like Shopify, Posh Mark, etc, etc, etc
Having said that, however, I have NOT been able to find one that does……
All the best
