Can someone explain to me how truegether works? I signed up about 1-2 months ago, almost 1700 items posted. No sales. A couple days ago I got an email saying my free promotion was over and needed to pay for a “custom google shopping subscription plan” Is everyone who uses this paying for the subscription? It looks like I will need to pay between 50-99 dollars. Im not sure its worth it since I havent sold a single item there.
Thanks

looks like if you want your stuff to show up on google shopping, you need to pay for a plan. other than that, it’s free. -

Thanks for looking into it for me. I have almost 1700 listings and no sales so far. I just signed up for the google shopping for $50 a month. I will keep you guys posted to see if it makes a difference.

I have been looking at this platform too. Like many, as I build up my EBAY store I am a little nervous about all the eggs in one basket…. It’s a nice site, it’s free for only 10 listings, after that you have to pay a monthly fee ($9 for 100)….it was probably completely free initially. I am not sure how it works but I imagine you would pick which items you would list from your ebay store…. Do you have 1700 listings on Truegether? If so, and if anyone is looking and you have good items… you should have sales?? I have 226 items on ebay and sell something almost every day…still working on growing and working full time.. not easy… so this doesn’t encourage me if you have 1700 items and no sales. What is your store name so we can look.

Store name is Felixsfindsllc. I sell between 5k-8k a month on ebay so I definitely have good items. This is a little depressing for me since you have only a fraction of what I have and yet not had 1 sale. 🙁 Hopefully paying the subscription will give me a boost.

I paid $49.00 for 1 months membership of truegether and only got 1 sale for $32.50. Definitely not long enough for a real experiment but have had all 1700 listings there for 3 months now and only one sale. What a bust! 🙁

I signed up for Truegether, then read somewhere online that ebay considers it and Bonanza a violation of terms? Something to do with my allowing it to transfer my ebay listings over is the equivalent of a 3rd party service that crawl listings? So I panicked and deleted both. Has anyone ever had any indication from ebay that it is a violation and either suppresses your account or worse – closes an account?

do you have a link to where you read that it was a violation of ebay policy?

I’m not sure if it is an actual violation – that is my reason for posting the question; but anyway, this is the link: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html
It is in the “Using Ebay” section…
In connection with using or accessing the Services you will not: use any robot, spider, scraper, data mining tools, data gathering and extraction tools, or other automated means to access our Services for any purpose, except with the prior express permission of eBay;
Thanks for any insight or experience – I really want to use them but don’t want to jeopardize my ebay account. What do you think?

i’m pretty sure these other sites have ebay’s permission (though i’m not sure why), because when you go to export your store, it gives you a dialog page that allows you to export from ebay to another site. why would ebay allow that function if it was against their policies?

TrueGether has always been free for all my listings. I get the occasional sale, maybe 2 or 3 a month at best.

Thanks for the response – glad no-one has had any push-back from ebay regarding it – hopefully it is acceptable.
