Last week my highest net sale was this baseball signed by three Yankees broadcasters at $58.90, but my net for the week was right around $850 which is the number I look to hit on eBay. Oddly my average sale was right around $40, so it was a Goldilocks week with a lot of sales that were not too high, not too low, but just right. I paid $25 for the autographed ball a few months back so I am pretty happy with that.
My favorite card of the week was this Tony Dorsett card with a piece of football from the Super Bowl with a net just under $50. I paid $23 back in June. I love cards like this with a unique story, but I like a little more meat on the bone in terms of profit.
I did well on this Cleveland Indians 1995 World Series engraved full sized bat — my COGS was $10 and my net was $40. Thanks @Sharyn for the tip about USPS priority mailing tubes. I received my free 10-pack from the USPS website in less than a week! After some initial fussing with how to put them together, I figured it out and now I have all that I need for future bat-sized items.
My oddball item of the week was this ticket from the 2023 Pokemon world championships which netted me $30. I bought a lot of three of these for that cost, so I should double my money (or more) after the other two sell. In hindsight, I slightly overpaid, and lesson learned for next time.
