Another quite slow week in terms of quantity sold, just 19 items, but a few big ticket sales made the math work on my numbers for another week.
The big sale was this Denver Broncos authenticated coin from the coin toss, bought in July for $25 and sold for an offer of $319.99, $246 net. Had the listing priced at $500, did an end/sell similar batch on Thursday and lowered the price on this listing to $400. Sent out a 20% offer the next day and made the sale.
My next to last Elvis pajamas card for $24.59 net. I’ve made a few hundred dollars profit over the last month on cards with bits and bobs of Elvis paraphernalia, but without finding some unexpected deals, it’s time to find the next pipeline.
The end and sell similar batch was good for moving some more of those soccer printing plate sets with this Eddie Nketiah set netting me just over $42. I’ve got another 30 of these sets listed in the store and I’d love to move five more over the next month.
The Oakland Athletics completed their final season in Oakland a few weeks ago, which is not thrilling for the fans, but on the bright side I can make a few extra bucks on their cards. I’ve had this 2004 Upper Deck Team Terrific bat and jersey booklet card with swatches from 1970s Athletics players for at least a few years. I’ve tried different platforms and formats, nothing. But I shipped it from my consignment port last month and figured I’d try it (again) in my eBay store. Sure enough, it sold. $42.15 net. It’s very rewarding to get a decent sale on something that’s been in inventory this long.
What did you sell this week?

Axis and Allies Revised Edition 2004 Avalon Hill Board Game
Picked this up for $2 at a yard sale this summer. Sold for $25 on offer. Note that this actually was an easy to list item as the previous owner had everything well organized. I didn’t count anything – just laid it all out there and took photos.

Metallica Ninja Star Stripe Hat 90’s Giant Baseball Cap Snapback
Sold on offer for $45. Paid $1 at the yard sale where I got all the vintage Metallica concert tees. Now if I could just start selling the T-shirts too! I have them priced VERY high though, so just waiting on decent offers.

Polo Ralph Lauren Fireman Clasp Canvas Barn Chore Horseman Jacket Coat Red Sz XL
Sold on offer for $180. This is one of my favorite premium hoarder items. I’m shocked it took a year to sell, and not nearly for as much as I wanted to sell it for. I REALLY wanted at least 200, but a sale’s a sale, espcially since I only paid $7 for it.

Wilson Electronics 801201 3G Wireless Cellular/PCS Dual Band Booster Kit
Sold for full price. I paid $2 at a yard sale this summer. My gut says this one will come back to me on a return. We’ll see. I hope I’m wrong!

I bought this glass cutting board as part of a online auction lot that cost me less than $5 total. I didn’t think the board was worth much, but I know to look up each item. Even vintage Corning “counter savers” were coming up less than $10. However, once I added the word “Sunflower” in the search, the price went right up! Sold for $40.

When I was helping my neighbor sell off his stuff, he handed me a vintage 1930s small suitcase that was full with Lionel trains and accessories. It has sat there for a year or more because I needed to do the research and I thought that I should test it. I finally just listed everything as untested. The locomotive has wear and I have no idea if it works, so I listed it lower than the working ones, but definitely higher than other untested ones, and it sold in a few hours for $63.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/235303340030 Not at all a typical pick up for me but I find metal art does pretty well.
@Sharyn interesting Corningware sale. My mom had one of those with chickens. I’m surprised at that price.
