PayPal offering to reimburse limited number & $ of free returns

For those who buy on eBay, I saw this recent post on doctorofcredit.com (a personal finance/deals/credit card & bank bonus deals site) that PayPal is offering reimbursement to buyers who use PayPal and need to return items that the merchant doesn’t provide free return shipping for a limited number and dollar amount of returns.

Pay with Paypal and get Free Return Shipping [Program Ending]

It sounds like PayPal is footing the bill and it also mentions that you need to turn on this benefit ahead of time and manually apply to use it within 30 days of purchase.

I haven’t tried it yet, but thought maybe someone on the forum who buys on eBay might find it useful.
