I recently was accepted to participate in a beta for a new Active Listings format and while it has taken a bit to get used to, I think I’m liking the primary difference.
First, they are ordering the items by ending date, which isn’t new, BUT, items that are Good until canceled are ordered in the order in which they were listed. This is providing a more static view of the listings and checking on newly listed items is easier because you just scroll to the end. The listings don’t get mixed up as items cycle through the 30 day period. It also helps to see how the longer tail items are doing in terms of views over the time. One thing I think I would like to see is the original listing date.
Anyone else participating in a beta or have participated in the past? For those who did it in the past, did the changes get adopted?

You can sort by any column you wish. You can also add or remove columns. To the right of “manage active listings”, click the customize link. You can add start date as a column which is very helpful.

Thanks for the tip! I guess the only change is that the good until cancelled items no longer have the remaining time for the 30 day period listed.

They still do for me.

Yeah, I am previewing the “New” version as a beta tester and that is the primary difference on desk top. Mobile version still has the remaining time listed for me. I don’t know if or when they will roll that feature out.

Would you mind copy/pasting the email they sent you for the invite?
I’d like to see how they’re promoting it nd what problem they’re trying to solve. -

Here you go!—
We’d like your feedback!
The Seller Experience Team is updating the Seller Hub Active Listings and Manage Orders pages to be faster and more efficient for you. We’re asking a few select sellers to try out the new pages and give us feedback so that we can make them great before we open them to everyone.
Please respond by November 6th to join our pilot!
How to participate in the pilot
Click here to take our brief survey! We’ll let you know if you’ve been selected to participate. If you are selected, you’ll be given access to either the new Active Listings page or the new Manage Orders page (Don’t worry – we’ll let you know which page you’ll be testing!)
Use the new page! Once you have access, conduct your business as usual. Most of the features you’ve come to expect are already in the new pages, and more are on the way.
Give your feedback! The purpose of this pilot is to get your feedback so that we can make Seller Hub better for you.Opt out at any time
If the new Manage Orders or Active Listing pages aren’t working for you, send us an email and we’ll take you off the list!Your responses are completely confidential and will only be used for research purposes. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
Please note: This survey invitation has been sent to your My Messages account and personal email address to assure you of the validity of the survey. Participation in the survey will NOT trigger any sales promotions from eBay.
Thanks in advance for your time!
The eBay Seller Experience Team

No clue what the exact issues they are trying to address are and I’m only seeing the Active Listings page changes. My non-scavenging life is in software development/research and I lean into the usability arena so being able to test out changes is something I like to participate in. As of now, I have only noticed the time remaining change I mentioned above. I have not noticed any benefit in ease of use or efficiency in page navigation.
