Ok so Im sure I left out a number of brands, In fact while shopping today I was reminded of a few.
I am actually more interested to hear what brands or types of mens shirts (that are at least sort of common) That you have found, so I can up my mens shirt game 😉 -

Nat Nast polos. Hard to find, but worth it. We have also had good luck with Brooks Brothers polo shirts, but not much with their LS shirts.
I find more shirts when not looking for shirts. Looking for jeans or shorts and happen to stop by the shirt rack, for example.
I wear Eddie Bauer and Nautica, but they don’t seem to do well, generally speaking.
Good video, BTW. Must watch for newbies who think all brand names sell….

A good summary, thanks for posting that! Others? Harley Davidson springs to mind. Some that might not be so “common”, but might turn up, and can be good: Ben Sherman, Robert Graham, Thomas Pink.

Spot on. Harley Davidson has to have the right style that fits that brand, so solid garage shirts, black, unique, etc. Ben Sherman I agree, but has to have some “Snap” as I call it: Unique, slim fit, spread collar, etc. Robert Graham plain would be in the $20-$50, and real snap is $50+. Thomas Pink is a solid choice, and the better the snap, the closer to $50.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah Harley of course! I found a 4XL Harley today it looks like a bed sheet lol. Also Nat Nast I shutter to think how many of those I have passed up in the past, I only found out they sell a few months ago.

Very nice little video. I started to branch out into Men’s button down shirts this summer because I went to several yard sales where I was able to buy 10-15 of them at each sale for $1 each. Most in 2XL and larger.
To add to your list, I have some success with Izod and Tommy Hilfiger as well in the $20-30 sales price range.-

God love ya. I have had crickets with Izod or Tommy Hilfiger. Tommy Bahama I stay away from as well, except for Linen or Silk. Otherwise, they just don’t move well.

The last two I sold were Hilfiger and Izod. One was 3X and other was 4X.
I never pass up Big n Tall clothes in nice brand names. The bigger the number in front of the X, the better!

T-Satt,
I agree with what you call “snap” and I call “the old razzle dazzle”….a fairly common brand can be a really good sale if it’s got that extra something. -

I’ve had luck with oddball big & tall sized items that I find at TJ Maxx, Ross, Burlington Coat Factory or Marshalls in the clearance section for a few dollars.
Since I’m very tall, I know how difficult it is to find something you like in your size that normal retailers don’t carry. Any oversized shirts, pants, and even shoes you can get cheap (under $5 on clearance) at one of these stores is always worth it.
