If anyone tries this, I’d love to hear how that goes.

I use AI the other way round, to make birthday cards. So I ask it for two rabbits drinking beer in the style of Durer and it does it. Also Boris Johnson dressed as the Mekon; it weaves his blonde hair into a weird hat, colours his skin green and gives him a nifty uniform like a South American general.
I guess whatever Large Language Model is used for listings is kept on a tight rein. It seems to produce a standard type of sales pitch.
This unit features Boris Johnson dressed as the Mekon, a beloved character from the classic comic book series. The unit is compatible with SINGER brand sewing machines and is a great addition to any collection. The unit quantity is Boris and it is made in the United Kingdom. This item is perfect for fans of the Tory Party and those who appreciate Boris Johnson’s unique style. It is a great conversation starter and makes for a unique piece of decor. Don’t miss out on the chance to own this one-of-a-kind unit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF1xLX-3I0E&t=1458s Here is a video about this new feature of the product. The price is too high for me at $69 per month I think for now but interesting and also nice that your listings are backed up and COGS can be inputted.

She does a comparison between the LP text and the eBay text- the LP version is a lot better. Even though she selected the ‘humor’ option.
Shake it til you make it with this Robert Graham shaker! Perfect for impressing friends or just shaking up your own life.
versus something that reads like the text of a 2-mminute 1980s infomercial.

Yes and they have a professional and concise settings I would use. Pretty cool how it measured one of her items for her. I would definitely do this in the future vs all the tax etc hoops that come with hiring someone. If my daughter becomes more independent this year I’ll consider it. Listing is the slow down for me. Plenty of sourcing available.

I’m also waiting as I like to let them work out the books with other people first before I try a new product.

I don’t know if anyone remembers the Flippertools website. At some point, I had joined their Facebook group. It went stagnant for a while, but someone has taken over (bought?) the site from the original owner. It appears to be in an update.
Anyway, on the Facebook group, the new admin mentioned that he is developing an AI tool to write listing titles using your photos. He is offering free use of the beta version for anyone who is part of his Facebook group. He says “For free access, visit https://allbutnew.com/ and use the invite code <span class=”html-span xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x1hl2dhg x16tdsg8 x1vvkbs”><b>FLIPPERTOOLS</b></span> when you sign up.”.
Now the “fine print”: I have not tried the service, and I am not currently planning to. I don’t think that writing the listing title is the slow point for me, and I don’t want to eventually have to pay for the service.
However, if someone wants to check it out and relay their experience, I’m all ears!

I think the value is in the filling in of item specifics on Ebay, assuming that goes well. Measuring items if correctly would also save time. The tags on some sites would be helpful too. Listing on Poshmark and Mercari are so straightforward, but I’m wondering mainly how the software programs do with Ebay. It also could be better than sell similar if it selects the correct category and saves your preferences. Sometimes I notice on ss that people leave out a very important keyword.
My previous post should say bugs not books. lol. I think this has promise. I also would gain back a couple of days worth of time at the end of the year if I could input COGS when listing. Is anyone putting that in the custom sku?
