Hi, Been listing a few items the past 2-3 days. Frequently when I’ve finished and press List Item button all I get is a quick flash and nothing happens. Only thing I can do is hit refresh, and all my pics and descriptive paragraph and mailing specifics vanish. What the heck–happen to others? So frustrating!

I use Chrome on a PC and I haven’t had those issues. I would suggest that you clear your browser cache and check to see if the browser needs an update itself.

This happens to me when I leave a listing open for awhile and come back to work on it later. I haven’t had issues with that in the past, but, recently, it seems that eBay needs to be refreshed every once in a while.

Know what you mean Sharon. But after refreshing most of my entered data is gone; on drafts too. grrrr. But what Miss. Pickers suggested worked, at least for now. 😊

FYI…
though my computer (MacBook Pro)is running much faster (yeah!) after cleaning out the cache/history, I just had a listing in progress get stuck when hitting the List button. Refreshing didn’t work.
The listing in progress was open for…maybe an hour before hitting the List button.

Dahlyia, I suspect that having a listing page open for a good while may contribute to the problem. I’d suggest trying to open create listing page and get it done asap. and yr right; save draft, even copy/paste elsewhere yr description text if it’s lengthy. Very frustrating; grrrrrr

Yes its because I have the listing page open for awhile (multi-tasker here). It’s how I’ve always worked with listing tho.
No I haven’t called. I’m now used to copying and pasting my description and title elsewhere before Refreshing and getting out of the ‘STUCK’.

I’m assuming that after refreshing your photos are gone, as mine are? Yup, it didn’t used to be like that; create page could be open as long as you wanted. There’s a glitch somewhere; surprised more aren’t experiencing it. 😞

Yes, after refreshing, photos are gone as well as all new verbiage.
I have usually loaded photos and added specifics and maybe description. Seems like I’ll do a research on pricing, get side tracked and work on other Ebay stuff.
Just curious…Changing the subject…have you noticed that on the podcasts, the recording time on the bottom isn’t there anymore?. It started several months ago. If I pause while I’m listening, I cant see how long the podcast is; how much Ive listened and how much time is left.

I’ve been having a similar issue for a few months. Just happened again this morning after leaving a listing open overnight. Started after the Spring or Summer update. Whenever I leave a listing open for a while (more than an hour it seems) when I finally click save I just get a spinning “Saving draft” message that will stay there until I close the window. When reopened many of my most recent updates are gone, including any pictures uploaded. I opened a ticket with eBay and posted on their community board, but no resolution. Only confirmation that many are having the same issue. Clearing cache doesn’t seem to make any difference for my issue.
I’m using Microsoft Edge on a PC.

@toniwill – I called and reported it. They acknowledged it was a thing, and added it to the log. I also posted on the community forum where there are other complaining about the same issue.

I called as well. Hoping they fixing soon.
It locks up as well when open for less than 30 minutes for me. I cant help myself for leaving listings open.
Im a multi tasking….pen behind ear, packing, photographing and listing almost-all-at-the-same-time kinda gal.

I switched over to Chrome and I don’t seem to be having the issue on Chrome. Still happening on Edge browser.
