Hi from Illinois

Hey everyone! My name is Kati, and I currently live in central Illinois (originally from upstate NY). I’ve been on eBay since 2000, although I didn’t start reselling until 2012—celebrating ten years this year! It’s been an on-and-off, part-time thing all this time, but I’ve decided 2022 is the year I ramp up to full time. Enough is enough—I’m ready to be free from working for other people.

My favorite places to source are estate sales, but I also enjoy yard sales, thrift stores, and flea markets. I’m a collector of vintage glass and ceramics, and I love selling online because if I get tired of something, I can just list it and get rid of it! Big MCM fan as well.

I live with chronic pain (although I’m always hoping I’ll turn a corner with that at some point), so working from home is really ideal for me. All the more reason to give this eBay business a serious go. Thanks to Jay and Ryanne, I’ve seen it’s possible. In the early years of selling online, I didn’t have any examples of other people doing this full time. Now I know that I can do it too! Happy to be here with other like-minded folks.
