I hope this is the right section to post that in.
I check everyday my unsold section and relist whatever didn’t sell.
This afternoon, knowing that i had to relist 10 items, i was surprised with an unsold item amount of over 4000 items. So basically, all my active items went to unsold even thou they are still active.
All my sold items went into unsold.
And all my unsold item from at least the last 90 days or so went back into unsold.I called up ebay and of course talked to someone in India, they told me that they are aware of this issue and not sure how long it takes to resolve the issue.
I was wondering if any of you experienced the same issue today ( February 1st 2018)and talked to ebay and got a better answer from them.
Not sure how to approach this situation. I am thinking of waiting a few days to see if it gets fixed, or start the manual process of going through each listing.
Any input is well appreciated.

Are you looking at this in seller hub’s Unlisted? I think there’s an easy fix if you just want to see your actual unlisted items

MyCottage: I tried that a few times and it didn’t work. It seems like everything gets pulled into the unsold section. Everytime i go back in, the actual number of unsolds goes up.
Super strange, maybe it is just my account, or maybe a few accounts but it sure feels like a poltergeist took over.

Below “Manage Unsold Listings”…do you see Store Category? Make sure it is set to All. Then, Status? Make sure it says: Not Relisted. Format and Period should be set to All
Now click the search button beneath all that.
Did that work?

I just checked our Unsolds and see no issue. So you’re entire 4000 item store is now unlisted? But actually they’re still active? That’s very weird.
I’ll share my unpopular opinion that listing “good till canceled” will fix a lot of issues that people have with missing items get unlisted and not relisted.

Yes, everything showed up as unsold. My active listings stayed active but also went into unsold. Sold items went into unsold and unsold items from months ago.
It is the first time it happened to me. But from what i see on the ebay community pages it has happened before but non show a real solution besides calling ebay.

Sorry, I missed your response….yes, it will default back to the complete list, but when you click search, doesn’t it show you your actual unsolds to be relisted?

Yes, so here is whats happening, and i figured that out after i tried few times the way you explained it.
I can see it in the drop down menu but when i select and hit search, it does not respond to my request and reloads the same page with everything in it.I also just received an email from ebay saying that a technician is working on my account. So lets see what happens

This happened to me too, EVERYTHING got dumped into the unsold, and I called Ebay. The search box is the key to solving the glitch. Click on status and get the unlisted (see picture) and hit search. Alternatively go to ended listings and your unlisted items will be there.

Right…that’s what I said up above, but the screen shot makes it much clearer! Thanks for posting that!

Ah, did not read your post, MyCottage, sorry! I got excited cause it was happening to me too.
I think Ebay is experiencing technical difficulties…. I am having trouble relisting too. I can do it but it takes a couple of tries with weird error messages.

HI, quick update.
So everything is back to normal. Because I received such great help from MyCottage and Sigilini, i started to realize that some of my sellerhub page were not responsive. What seemed to be an easy way to resolve my first issue turned into another problem.
Anyways, yesterday evening after spending a few times calling ebay, my pages started to be responsive again and i was able to use MyCottage and Sigilinis suggestion on how to separate my unsolds from the rest and it worked.
Thanks for helping me.

I had been meaning to post a problem very similar to this actually. It happened to me back in December but only like 10% of my store went into unsold. I relisted them and it hasn’t happened since. I periodically check the unsold now just in case.

I get superconfused with ended and unsold listings.
I have gone through a couple of times where I have accidentally double listed things because of what I think are glitches in the ebay system when I move things to auction and also when things end and then I have to relist them. Then I’ve had to go through and meticulously find and delete the duplicates. This is time consuming and annoying.
I think my solution to this problem is that I just stick to list forever instead of listing for a specific amount of time.
I wish ebay had a way to prevent double listings.
