As of this moment, they only offer 2 box sizes. Grrr …
http://stores.ebay.com/ebayshippingsupplies/You’d think they would have a huge and wide supply of boxes being it’s late in the quarter. Not sure how to best spent my Anchor credit next month.

hoping they restock for the beginning of next quarter.

Just keep checking back. Finally used our credit for this quarter about 2 weeks ago and most all of the sizes were available. Two weeks before that there were only 2 sizes to choose from.

If it is the end of the quarter, they may be out due to demand. They may restock each quarter based on supply and demand and for statistical purposes. I would think that if there was going to be some kind of termination of some of boxes, ebay would make an announcement so sellers can find other box sources. It really is not to the benefit of ebay not to supply their sellers with boxes due to the fact that it is free advertising and can help promotes ebay activity.

When I sent them an email they said they were discontinuing most of their large boxes. I found another source for boxes because of this. I have found Staples.com has the cheapest price for boxes. I now order all my boxes from them. They are even cheaper than eBay itself.
I had ordered boxes from another seller who was the cheapest on Amazon. They drop shipped them from Staples. So I decide to cut out the middleman. To get free shipping I think you have to order $50.

You are correct. Staples is cheaper than Uline and Home Depot. Only thing about HD is that if you need a special size box ASAP, then a quick trip up and back, buy only the one you need and you can keep going.
We have had a Gold Staples Rewards card for many years and we get points for every purchase which makes the purchases even lower still.
Currently, the Ebay store has 4 box sizes. Interesting though is if you lo0ok at the Categories Side Bar they show that they have 10 items listed in the “Box” category. Wonder if they just have a glitch about showing everything they have actually listed.
Also on another note, I have complained before that by the time I use Ebay tape and boxes our packages look like a Jack in the Box going out. Just so unprofessional looking. Colors going every which way. Use Ebay tape on a USPS Priority box and it looks like someone threw up a box of water colors on it. Lastly, we are selling more items now on other platforms and we prefer the clean, look of the plain boxes and the use of clear tape. The box looks more professional. If I want an Ebay logo on it, then I guess we could use an Ebay stick on round decal, sparingly.
Just our opinion.

MDC .. the number in the left margin (10) includes available quantities of the (4) available boxes.
I’ll swing by Staples to see what they have. Thanks.

Hi, March 31st is my deadline to use my $25 coupon however the eBay supply store has zero items in stock. Is Ebay doing away with their coupons and supplies?

Hey Picking Pair,
I have found my local Staples carries very little inventory. On-line they have it all. I would try the web page if your local store is out. You have to order a certain dollar amount to get free shipping so you may want to stock up. -

As of this moment they have 4 sizes. I really hope they offer larger ones again, but here is my experience in using these sizes:
6 x 4 x 4 – Medium use
8 x 6 x 4 – Heavy use; reduce the height (4) a smidgen and it fits in a Padded Flat rate envelope
10 x 8 x 6 – Heavy use
12 x 6 x 6 – Occasional useI have some of the 10 x 10 x 10 and they are great.
Are there box sizes that you use heavily that USPS and eBay don’t offer?

“Are there box sizes that you use heavily that USPS and eBay don’t offer?”
Ebay used to offer 12x10x8 and I ended up using those a lot.
Guess I’ll check Staples for it if this size and the larger sizes don’t magically reappear on ebay on April 1.

I found a few posts on eBay Community Forums from 3/14 related to this:
#1
“I’d call eBay and inquire about the lack of shipping supplies offered. They phased out some box sizes and when I ordered bubble mailers I noticed the sizes were not all the same as when I ordered previously.
Perhaps eBay listened to seller complaints about box sizes and print on mailers. Many want the larger sizes back and the colorful eBay logo back on the bags.
Maybe, just maybe, we will have a better variety of supplies available when the next seller coupon arrives.”
#2
“They have been having glitches with items showing in the store, yesterday nothing showed.
I messaged them & got back a response below. So I guess it hasn’t been 100% fixed yet:eBay is having a glitch and doesn’t show any of the stock available although we have plenty at our warehouse. We sent an email out to the tech support team a short while ago and are hoping all of the listings we had up yesterday will be reactivated shortly.”
