eBay Glitch Affecting Listing Schedules

I spent nearly an hour on the phone with eBay, trying to address a new glitch on their platform. The issue revolves around listing schedules, and it’s causing some confusion. Support was totally unaware of the issue.

Here’s what I observed in my Seller Hub:

1. **Listing Date Discrepancy**: On March 1, I submitted one of my listings, expecting it to automatically end and relist on April 1. However, eBay has incorrectly scheduled the relist for March 31. This discrepancy isn’t limited to my listing; it affects all items listed after February 9, 2024.

2. **Another Example**: I submitted a listing on February 10, and eBay indicates that it will automatically end and relist on March 9.

3. **Scope of the Glitch**: Interestingly, this glitch seems to impact only items first listed after February 9, 2024. Listings that have already been relisted via eBay’s Good ‘Til Cancelled (GTC) option remain unaffected.

eBay’s help page states this about Good ‘Til Canceled Listings:
“When you list an item as Good ’Til Canceled, it will relist every month on the same day until it’s sold. For example, if you list your item on the 1st of May, it will relist on the 1st of June.”

If you’re experiencing similar issues, report any anomalies to their customer support.
