At the top of my Drafts page, it now says “you can manage and create up to 5000 drafts” so maybe drafts over 20 won’t randomly vanish anymore?

Praise be! Although capping it at 20 was what made it actually go take photos. 🙂

The photos still disappear after about a month, though. I had 2 packs of cards that I had to research more, and, by the time I got back to them, the photos were gone. I had to re-photograph them anyway, so it was no big deal. Just something to watch out for.

Fake News! I had 3 listings I was working on 3 listings in drafts for less than 72 hours now they are gone!
I’m also having a problem with pictures failing to upload from mobile to laptop.
I start listings on the computer then save and open on the phone, snap the pics, resave. Open on the computer to finish the listing – 2 out of 10 times, the pictures disappear. Start over. so Frustrating.-

Why do you go back to the computer to finish the listing?
If you finish everything but the photos, submit the listing once photos are uploaded in the app.
That is what I do.The other thing I do is take photos in the phones camera app and then select them from photo roll in the ebay app. I’ve lost pictures too many times from the ebay app hanging up.

I find the best flow these days is:
-Take photos on my phone (not in the ebay app)
-Start a draft and upload to ebay app
-Finish draft on computer-

Interesting as I struggle with my phone or iPad…I prefer using a digital camera with an SD card and going straight to my computer to list.
I find the iPhone/iPad very difficult to take photos with quickly compared to my camera.
I also find editing photos in the eBay app or website time consuming – I do it outside with separate software that quickly cleans up the background, straightens the photo out, and I can crop easier.
I also find setting up an item in the app to take longer – I hate typing on the phone and can type extremely fast on my computer – I think that is a big difference for me. I’ve also memorized how many times to hit “tab” to move from field to field using my computer. I could probably list items (the text portions) doing the Bird Box challenge…
Just interesting to hear other’s techniques.

If you take photos in the iphone photo app, you can hot swap between 4×6 and square format. You can also hot swap white balances if the colors of the items are off ( in newer OS – I think 11 and up). I do not have to edit any of my photos using these tools. Just upload and occasionally rotate a photo.

Today my drafts are duplicating themselves. Hopefully these bugs get worked out over time.

@Retro thanks, i try that tactic sometimes it works listing straight from the phone and sometimes they hang up on me too when continuing on the phone.Photo russian roulette I suppose. I can /do sometimes take the photos and airdrop them to the computer . Extra step deleting/moving the photos to somewhere off my devices, oh well, It was all locking up all day on ebay , very wonky while trying to list my guts out to achieve a goal.
