I promise I won’t make a habit of asking, but I acquired this Sylvania toolkit and absolutely cannot find anything about it except two sold listings on Worthpoint. It’s called a Sylvania TV Tube See-Well Tool Kit.

sold for $12.97 in 2009.
I need to look again, that’s the only one I see so far.

MyCottage – Doing some genealogy research, I accidentally stumbled across this item on Worthpoint, my Great Uncles dog tag from WWI. Might I enlist your assistance in finding any and all information on this listing available thru Worthpoint? I sure would like to track this dog tag down and get it back into the family. Thank you. – Mark T.

Worthpoint doesn’t provide a whole lot of info. Date of sale and price: $17.50
SOLD DATE: Feb 22, 2018Let me see if I can find more on Terapeak.

Terapeak tells me it sold for 4 bids. I think terapeak used to give the seller ID, but looks like they don’t do that any more, and the sale is too old to show up in eBay’s solds. I don’t know where else to look unfortunately.

Awesome! Thanks, friend. I’ll probably price mine a bit higher anyways since it’ll be the only one up there and it’s a collectable. But still, it’s nice to know what they’ve sold for. I would love to have access to WorthPoint’s data, but I just can’t justify paying $200 a year to only need to use it a few times.

Yeah, I’d definitely go higher….you can always come down.

Since this thread became active again, I just wanted to stop by and say that I sold that little Sylvania tool kit for the full price of $60! It goes to show that it doesn’t always matter what past sold prices were. It’s all about the supply and demand. But I am grateful for the info. That way I knew I wouldn’t have left money on the table if others have sold for like $2000 or something.

Thank you! I didn’t expect that it sold for more in the year of 2013 than the year of 2017. I was trying to understand its value because my friend told me a collector said it could be worth $5000.
