Hello has anyone else had this problem? This is the second sale I have had in 2 weeks on Bonanza. That should make me happy but this is not the case. It’s another sale of a one off listing of a vintage item I sold on ebay 2 months ago. I went back through my bonanza sales over the last 6 months. I have had 2 true sales and 3 sales like this (an item that sold on ebay months ago). I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this. After I get this squared away I am going to close my account. It’s not worth the greef for 20 bucks every six month’s. I sell so few items it takes me a half hour each time to find my password and work though buying a label and marking shipped etc. Haha another ebay killer bites the dust 😉

Yea that’s what I am seeing as well. I think I’m done with Bonanza. My little experiment shows it’s a waste of my time, especially with selling old items.

I had 3 items in 2 months sell on Bonanza that were subsequently sold on eBay. The growing dings I had to take by canceling the eBay orders convinced me it could lead to loss of top status on eBay.. I thus closed my Bonanza account..

I had lots of problems with Bonanza too. I wasn’t getting notified when something sold. Way too much trouble for what it was worth.

My bonanza account is the free version, and it has not done much for me by way of sales. When I do sell something on Bonanza, I immediately check to see that it was ended on eBay – just in case. However, considering how few items I sell via Bonanza, I don’t really mind the extra work there, because I only joined Bonanza for the free background burner. I don’t use it too often (it’s very slow), but it has been a huge help when I need it.

Just a followup for the group. I emailed bonanza and told them how I was considering closing my Bonanza account the next time this happens and asked them if they were aware of it and if they could try and fix the issue. I also explained that others where having the same problem. I got a response in about a day. Here it is.

Hi Justin,
Thanks for writing to us so we can help with this! For reasons that are out of our control, eBay will “disconnect” the notifications that they send to us occasionally, which can result in items not being removed from Bonanza when they should be. We’ve just re-verified the notifications in your account, so everything should be properly removed. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate you letting us know!
Please let us know if you have any other questions for us, and we’ll be happy to help in any way we can!
Kind regards,
Scott G | Happiness Producer – Tier 2 Lead |
So I guess I will give them one more chance.

Forgot to mention. I also was not getting notified of the sale either. This last time I got an email from bonanza asking if I had shipped the item yet. It has been 5 business days. I had no clue it sold because the app never notified me, neither did payal.

Well the Bonanza drama returns. Last night I had 2 more items sell that had sold on ebay months ago. Funny how bonanza says they fixed my syncing problem 2 weeks ago. So this morning I refunded the buyer and sent in a seller fee refund with Bonanza. Then about 20 minutes later I get this email from them. “We notice you’ve recently processed a high number of refunds in your Bonanza booth: 33% of your sales. Guidelines for selling on Bonanza suggest that the amount of refunds processed by our sellers should remain at about 5%.
Frequent refunds can lead to negative feedback from buyers, so we try to limit seller-initiated refunds when we can. An excessively high refund rate will put your booth at risk of being placed on hold.
If you find that you often have inventory on Bonanza that should not be there, we can usually fix this problem with a quick eBay sync tune up. Please visit your booth today to ensure that all your merchandise is current and available for sale.”
Well as soon as I get my 15 bucks back as a refund I’m cancelling my account. Bye bye Bonanza. Another “ebay killer” bites the dust. I should have canceled it 2 weeks ago. O well lesson learned.
