I left my store on vacation mode for the full 14 days.  Had decent sales.  Since I’ve been home I haven’t had time to list due to family stuff and hosting an event today, so sales are definitely dropping off.  The weather here is perfect summer right now, but I’m excited for Fall and getting back to a routine once my youngest goes back to school.  Lots and lots of items to list.  I will probably do a small handful of vintage markets, but will focus on getting more listed on Ebay for the good season.

I’ve been closing my eyes and just running 20-25% off on my whole store this summer and for the most part it helped I think.  I really need to shift to a more active store, fast nickel.  There is no shortage of sourcing here so better to make some profit and get things moving, especially now that I am trying out estate sales and the flea market.   I was stubbornly holding out for high prices for a long while.

Awesome sale on the purse! I listed a gold necklace recently, and I received a message from eBay saying that it would go in the authentication program. While it will give a piece of mind for the buyer, I think I will feel a lot better too.

I’ve almost cleared out my draft log – I’m down to 16 items that need cleaned before I can photograph. Some of them are grungy hats. Typically I don’t buy dirty sweat stained hats, but these are valuable. One is a Vintage Seinfeld hat worth over $100!

I listed 378 new items in July. That is my highest monthly listing total ever. Suhwheet!

I really don’t have a goal this week. It’s so friggin hot out that I just can’t bring myself to do any major organization. I’ll just do….something. Maybe list another shelf in place. I probably won’t get as many listings done this week.

Sold 6 items for $673.

I had another shoe sale of $375 that the buyer didn’t pay. They did respond and say they would… I told them that the sale cancelled after 4 days. Oh well. We’ll see if they re-offer or message me back.
