This sale of $25 is for miscellaneous costume jewelry gathered from a consignor and my castoffs. I think I just became tired of selling them one by one. From the buyer’s user ID, I believe that they are going to resell them.
I purchased this in an online auction a few years ago for $5.75. Someone, in the 1930s, put together photos, newspaper clippings, and whatnot in this scrapbook about the actress Janet Gaynor. I thought it would sell faster, but I guess she never had a huge career. However, it did sell for $57.80.
This is what happens when an online auction company lists a bunch of stuff without doing any research. I purchased all the books in a bookshelf for very little. There were several higher value books in there. This one is a first printing of a Truman Capote book. Sold for $76.46.
