Steve – I like to scroll through your solds pretty regularly. I guess I had been skimming because I saw the mini stereo turntable and thought it was one of your refurbished systems that you sold for $250. LOL
These videos are getting published later in the week now. If I go back two weeks, I had no really interesting sales. However, if I move up to this past week, I have one I really want to show Steve.
A few weekends ago, I went to a town-wide garage sale day. As I was walking through a neighborhood, I came to a house that was giving things away. I wouldn’t have known what this was if it weren’t for Steve’s video a few weeks ago. This is recording wire that came out in the 50s but was obsoleted by 8-track tapes. This is an original canister with six spools. Sold for $40.46.
This isn’t a particularly interesting sale, but the buyer is in Canada. These are two very heavy Mitchell service manuals for domestic cars from 1994, sold for $23. The best I could do for him was standard UPS to Canada for $46, which I had to buy off Pirate Ship. He will have to go to a UPS store and pay a brokerage fee plus import taxes in order to get his books. I hope these books have the information he needs.
Nice sales! Love that TV. Must have been tough to let it go. As my grandfather always like to say, “you’ll never get another one like it”. But, of course, you probably will as you seem to have a knack for finding things like this.
I am impressed that your dogs have enough self control to not follow that deer to the ends of the earth. I’m afraid I’d never see mine again if a deer ever came pounding by while they were off leash.
Norman used to be like that, he’d take off after the deer and not be seen again for hours but he’s getting older, almost 10 and gives up the chase rather quickly now.
