Steve – I really appreciate your videos each week. I don’t get bored of doing this, but no one seems interested in posting consistently. While I occasionally sell something interesting, it would be nice to see more variety.
This went fast. I bought a working battery operated vacuum cleaner in an online auction. It didn’t come with the charger, so I decided to part it out. Here is the third and last part that sold for $42. I paid about $6 for the whole closet and just these three parts sold for over $100.
This is a commission sale for my neighbor. I grabbed two older cookbooks I found in his house. One was worth maybe $2 (so I gave it back to him), and this one from the Nebraska Czechs sold for $28 in a few hours.
about the percolator….when you come across them at garage sales, etc do you try to check if it works? if so other than just plugging it in is there anything you look for?
If there’s a convenient outlet available I might check it quickly but to be honest, I’ve never come across one that isn’t working so I don’t go out of my way, and I wouldn’t buy one that looks like it’s had a lot of use wear.
