After our best week of sales all year, sales slowed to a trickle. We didn’t sell anything for almost three straight days which is very rare for us. I feel the lingering concerns about the economy (aka “the other shoe’s going to drop”) is the issue. Sales picked up later in the week with fun sales of weird stuff we are happy to sell in any economic period.
Has anyone sold items through an offer where the seller had to automatically pay? We accepted two offers recently that never paid. I thought eBay was implementing some kind of automatic payment.
We celebrated the first year of our cafe and joining the Broad Porch Coffee partnership. It’s been a huge success being profitable from the start. There’s certainly much more stress to running a retail operation with employees, but it comes with a different sense of accomplishment. One recent success is getting our coffee bags into some National Parks in the mid-Atlantic region. Just like when we started on eBay in 2008, everything is built on these small victories.
