  I hear you, Steve, eBay is quiet right now. I have only two items that I thought were more interesting than average from last week:
  
  I purchased this cool poster mounted on foam board in an online auction a month or two ago. The Merv Griffin Casino Resort was in Atlantic City from 1988 to 1998. It is under different management different now. Apparently, Merv Griffin and Donald Trump were both interested in buying the resort, and Merv won out. In the end, though, he didn’t do well with it. I paid $5.75, and it sold at best offer of $30.

  I bought this 1970-71 unused beer advertising calendar about three or more years ago. I thought it would sell pretty quickly, but the right buyer was nowhere to be found until now. I paid about $1, and it sold for best offer of $20.
