That’s a completely mysterious object. It looks decorative, but also has that pointed spindle point.
The next time you call eBay you could ask. I see no reason why that info would be taken away for you. Only other idea I have is you might have accidentally switched to the old view?
the Clark’s [probably aren;t knockoffs, but the soles were made poorly. See our post about Danskos: http://www.scavengerlife.com/2014/06/the-sad-decline-of-crumbling-dansko.html
If eBay said they would back you up, then it’s really up to you. Ask for photos. If they are crumbling, I’d refund the buyer.
We don’t buy the new versions of Danskos, Clarks, Borns, and some other brands because of this crumbling sole.
Yeah, currently buying/selling on Facebook is the CL experience.
But Facebook could be a huge competitor to Bay if they turned on a payment system. But then they’d also need a customer service department, fraud department, etc.
I guess my advice to “go early” might have been a bad one! I just remember showing up in the late afternoon and wishing that we could have spent much more time because it was so huge. Sounds like you guys had a good time though.
and yes, never bring someone shopping who hates scavenging. You need to get into the zone.
I think eBay can handle all three ways to buy: auction, Fixed price, “make offer”.
While I agree that most buyers (like myself) usually just want to find a good deal and buy immediately, there are probably till some categories where buyers enjoy auctions. I know there’s been a huge surge in auction houses putting their stuff online and it’s become hugely popular. It becomes less about just grabbing a needed, practical item and more about the thrill of the auction.
That being said, fixed price works for most of the stuff we sell.

Maybe the paid version of Terrapeak goes back farther? As we’ve always said, eBay’s own sold history is good enough for us.

Nope. I see all my Sales first. There is a “customize” link on the right corner that lets you customize your view in case something was reorganized.
You can also take a screenshot and post it here so we can see.

If its a day when we’re in DC, we’d join you!
There was a seller who said that some international buyers could try to get out of the GSP program by requesting an invoice. It’s possible, but we’ve rarely had issues with selling to international buyers through GSP. We have successful sales every week overseas.
If you offer free shipping, then it’s just free to the Kentucky warehouse. Then the buyer pays to have to shipped to their country of origin.
And remember, you can always read about eBay policies on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/shipping-globally.html
Smart idea to sell anything unused or unneeded in your home. Then there’s plenty to find out in the world if you keep your eyes open.
He paid $149 for that case to resell?
