Yes there is a sold item too by that name. But I think they are guessing because the letters don’t seem to quite match and I cant find any other page with that name. It may be a small Italian shop. Yes Fatte a Mano is probably it since it says Made in Italy in back. I might just list as Handmade Italian Shoes.

For Returns, the fact that we can have a dialog at all and work out issues is amazing. With Amazon, sellers have to just eat it. I returned something the other day. I just had to choose a reason from a drop down menu and as soon as tracking hit the system, the money was in my account. All money gets returned including shipping. That gives me a ton of confidence when I buy on Amazon. I never have to worry if something is not quality. We might think Amazons return policy sucks for sellers, but I wonder how much more buyers there are because of consumer confidence. (Not advocating being a Amazon seller here).
On shipping to territories…I shipped a pair of sandals to Guam (Practicaly to China) for 2.50!!!blew my mind.

Average Price Sold: $44.33Was slow this week except for a couple 400+ days which made the week end up descent…I an learning to not make a big deal about good days and bad day but just be consistent. It all ends up selling eventually. Picking has been really difficult here in California. Not sure how seasonal that is, I cant seem to remember things being like this last year…but I still have a backlog so I cant complain too much.

The funny part I was trying to say was they were not boots being sold at Goodwill. A customer left her own Ugg boots by the shoe rack then went into the changing room to try on another pair of shoes. Not smart on her part, but there is nothing I could do. They did not have tags and these would have been behind the glass if they were actually for sale.
I would take the insoles out (SAS insoles come out easily) and simply match them to another pair of shoes…either another pair you have or take it in somewhere if you have to. SAS are good shoes to sell…they are kind of weird looking but apparently older people who need good support and traction really like them

Average Price Sold: $39Sorry about the 1,600 return….didn’t hear your feelings on the podcast yet. I really have a hard time when I get those return requested emails…even though I know it part of every retailer who does business…I have a hard time not making a big deal out of it…9 times out of 10 it will just sell again and its no big deal…although it really hurts when you know its a hard to sell item…

Highest Price Sold: $129 Peal & Co / Brooks Brothers Oxfords
Average Price Sold: $35.96I do not usually do free shipping but one buyer convinced me to offer her free shipping on an item, and it ended up not fitting her so I had to eat the original shipping…Also there is a physiological thing that happens when someone is selling a pair of shoes for 49.99 free shipping and another person selling the same shoes for 39.99 plus shipping…to me 39.99 sounds better.
But A ton of people do it and recommend it…so I dont know.12/05/2016 at 12:24 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 287: How Is the Holiday Selling Season for You? #7193Yup, I heard the pop belly lid open and close while RYanne was talking…sounded cozy.

My ultimate goal is to buy higher and higher end items to where I need to sell fewer and fewer items. To do that, to me its all about education and experimentation until I get there.Interesting item of note, I have a friend that owns 2.5 hours of raw video of Beyonce when she was 11 and starting her girl band. It documents basically the start of her career. He has been working on it, editing it for years…He is just an average guy trying to pay his bills. He used to work for National Geographic as a photographer. Anyways, the video is being sold in a London auction, valued at somewhere around 2-3 million…The auction is January 10th…hope he does well.
