Just watched the video, and I’m so sorry about your poor kitty passing away. I don’t think that you had her even a year.

Yes, I had her just over a year, she was only a year and a half old.
She succumbed to the feline leukemia virus.-

i know it’s hard to think this way just now, but i know there is a shelter in your town that has another kitty that needs a home this winter. : )

I’m so sorry for your kitty cat loss. Sending you and the dogs a virtual hug. My Sheltie dog died at only 7 years old and it was too painful for me to even consider another dog. I hope you are braver than I am and find another kitten. 😥

Here are some of my interesting sales from the week. I’m leaving out my highest sellers just because they weren’t all that interesting.
My sister gave me two LeapFrog systems and a lot of games. I broke them out into two different listings, and this lot included a LeapFrog with Writing, a case, and 17 games for $32. I found from the feedback that it was sold to a 2nd grade teacher:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182860541708This is a small sale of $9. I originally bought this Rutger’s nursing patch as part of a lab coat. When the coat sat there for about a year with very few views, I decided to take the patch off and throw out the coat. It sold in about a month.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182710697611Last month, I bought an auction lot for the minimum bid of $5 because of the vintage Barbie trunks, but it also came with about 10 dolls. The dolls quickly became a deathpile. Except for a select few, vintage dolls don’t seem to do well for me, and these need clean up and, in some cases, fixing. Then I read an article through Facebook (sorry, can’t find the original article) about items that you might not realize that people collect. Haunted dolls are one of them, and they mentioned that vintage dolls with messed up eyes that look scary also sell. Well, I had one of those. In my research, I saw the word “Halloween” in many of the listings, and I had missed that boat. I figured this would be a long tail item. Sold in about three days for $19. The Barbie trunks are still sitting there.

Steve, so sorry about your kitty passing. I need to go to my local thrift. I saw the same record holder full of records this week and thought of you. I think it was a bit rusty though. Impressed with that price.
I really loved these and paid $7, but they took a while to move and I took a best offer of $31 Model Boats from Maine
This smells heinous!, but I’m a good trash elf and looked it up. Paid $10 yesterday at GW in the case. Sold BO of $75 to a dealer with a search out. I believe the post office will ship this ground / parcel, correct? Stinky French Mens Colone
Paid $12 for this at indy thrift, sold bo $50. Buyer left positive feedback with comment “much smaller than expected!!!” but the measurements are in there. Small Midcentury Paris Painting
Awesome mug. My last of $7. Paid $16 at a garage sale for all of them. Cache is gone. 🙁 Arts & Crafts Mug
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

ChristineR, from the USPS Site: https://www.usps.com/ship/shipping-restrictions.htm
“Perfume containing alcohol may not be shipped internationally or mailed domestically using air transportation. Perfume containing alcohol, however, may be shipped within the United States by ground transportation.”
A postal clerk told me one time that the bottle should be placed in an inner plastic bag and sealed. She also mentioned that only one bottle per package and that bottle had to be 16 oz. or under. I havn’t checked, but I believe that FedEx and UPS do not have a restriction on perfume.

Thanks Steve List. I found an old forum post and got it shipped out parcel post in a ziplock with a large, large amount of bubble wrap. I took it in and checked on it. Luckily no line on Black Friday.
This week I shipped some gifts at FedEx, including shampoo. FedEx was pretty careful about it and had to read the label. I even had to unwrap it. I also found out by using a recycled Walmart.com box I had ordered bathroom stuff in that there is a diamond shaped sticker on hazardous material. Luckily, FedEx let me take the sticker off when I explained it was dishes.

Sorry to hear about your kitty, KitKa. We have two. Bella is almost 16 yrs and Sugar Bear is about 2-3 yrs. Whenever we watch your videos on one of our cell phones we always turn it toward the cats at the end to show them and their ears pick up and their eyes actually follow the image as they watch the doggies and cat at the end.
As Ryan said, there will be another at some time in the future. The doggies need that calm, tranquility that a feline brings.
Nice Sales and video as usual. Always a switch from all of the home decor we deal in.

How horrible about your cat–I have had several pass away from feline cancer–but they were pretty old at that time, it is never easy, and I agree with Ryanne consider adoption at some point.

Christine, nice Peets mug. I have only found one Peets so far, a plain, California mug. Not many out here in flyover country. But I looked yours up and it is a pretty cool BOLO.
Thanks for the heads up.-

You’re welcome. I’ve only found a couple of other singles. I would normally pass over standard Peets mugs, but this is an artist collaboration. Artist-retailer collaborations are one of my RA and Ebay gotos.

ChristineR: .. Thanks for the BOLO heads up on Peets. I asked wife Susan and assistant Lisa if they were familiar with the brand and we were not. So, we ran a Worthpoint search and many are at the $35-$50 and some around the $75 dollar range. Great heads up on those. We will certainly keep our eye open. Appreciate the sharing.

Oh, Steve. So sorry about your kitty. She seemed to have such a great temperament and was so beautiful. We had a Calico once who was also an awesome kitty and lived too short of a life. I bet the dogs miss her, too.

Christine – I was so disappointed when I clicked on your link to discover that your listing title did not actually include the words “Stinky French Mens Cologne”. I was sure that was what won them over 😉 LOL
Steve – so sorry for your loss! I always loved watching how that kitty was so confident around the dogs. What a sweetie!

Steve, I found a pair of Red Wing cowboy type work boots today. No size inside. On the outside of the right boot, there is “Red Wing” stamped, with a 5 under each word. In the past, this is were I have found the size markings, but I have not seen anything like this. They appear to be a size 12-13 by my guess.
Any ideas?

There’s a pair of Red Wing boots on eBay list d as A55, might be a style number.
Check the back side of the the Boots high on the ankle, you might be able to see a size impression in the right light.

Steven, first, I am so sorry on the loss of your kitty. They really become part of the family. Second, thank you for consistently posting your ‘what Sold” videos. I love them and learn so much from them. I wish I was brave enough (and knowledgeable) enough to sell electronics! You rock! (does anyone even say that anymore?)
