Hard to believe 2022 is almost over. It’s been a nice, steady month of sales for me with a particular increase in items selling within the first month after I list them, which is something I’ve really tried to focus on over this last quarter. Out of the 27 items I sold this week, 10 of them (about 40%) were listed within the last month. It’s exciting to make changes to my process and see the results quickly.
What did you sell this week?

It’s opportunistic. I’m in Target and see that Starbucks has some smaller city mug line Across the Globe. Check Ebay app and only a couple of other locals are on to it. I bought a couple and figured I could give them to relatives as gifts if they didn’t sell. Sold before my sale for $39 plus shipping.
Runner up is this cool graphic kids bedding. A brand I never heard of. Paid $10 apiece at a small school fundraiser rummage sale and took best offer of $60. God I love rummage sales. https://www.ebay.com/itm/334578888675

This week I had a couple high priced sales and then some interesting smaller items.
This Polaroid camera was the sale of the week. It took about a year to move, but finally sold for $725. I found it at an estate sale and got it for practically nothing. I guess they didn’t bother to look it up.

I also sold this brand new VCR for $250. This was found at the local outdoor flea market for a really good deal.

On the smaller, but fun side of sales, I had a couple interesting items move that week.
This button for New England Telephone sold within a few days for $20 with free shipping

I sold some vintage wrapping paper from the 70s for $20. It took maybe a month to sell.

On the other end of the spectrum, I finally sold these vintage photo albums that had lots of pics of camping and girl scouts from the 60s. This took 3 or 4 years to sell. I had finally lowered the price and they sold for $30.

Bought this lot at a yard sale for $100. Took a $300 offer. I could have made more parting it out (about $450-500), but I am happy just moving it on. I was hoping to get $400 for the lot.

Bought this music box at the same yard sale for $20. Twas the first time I used the new video function on ebay. I forgot to put the manual and adapter back in when I packed it up, so I had to ship that out 1st class the next day. DOH!

Old power tool batteries and chargers are easy money all day long! I pick these up for $1-2.

I loves me some vintage jeans! I’m still hoping to one day find a pair of crazy JNCO jeans from the 90’s at a yard sale, hopefully with a TON of other vintage 90’s concert t’s and stuff.

my sale of the week would be this portable rechargeable car vacuum. 100% profit as it was a gift from a vendor last xmas…LOL. I wouldn’t have sold it except I have a shop vac I use for the cars.
