USPS Supplies taking forever

The last time I received a shipped confirmation email from the USPS Postal Store was in April. Since then I’ve only gotten the order confirmations, then the stuff shows up at some point. Some things arrive quickly (I think sometimes the orders are filled by the local servicing PO) but some items have taken a while to arrive.

yep, been delayed here too. just trying to make sure i re-order stuff with more time in between actually running out. been ok, but yeah several weeks wait sometimes.

I just ordered some stuff from them on Friday, I’m not expecting it for a few weeks but we will see. I definitely waited too long and am low or out of a few things.

Not sure if I should say lucky you or lucky me. I don’t get email notifications that my items are shipped (lucky you!) but I’ve been receiving my stock within two weeks (lucky me!) with the exception of PFREs. They’re slow arriving. My local post office has told me that even they are struggling to get stock of PFREs so I think there’s a shortage at the primary level.

They’ve always been slow in my experience, but I haven’t ordered anything recently.  They use Parcel Select and I think there is still enough increased volume of packages that the supply orders are only going to move when there is room.

If you’re running short you should be able to get most boxes at your post office in small quantities.

I better check my supplies tomorrow to give extra time if I’m getting low on any of these.

I received an shipment of USPS PFRE in the last couple of weeks.  It took about an month to arrive.

I ordered priority mail supplies 9/8/2020.

The padded flat rate envelopes took the longest to get here, arriving approx 10/15/2020.

And yes the PFRE envelopes are a tad smaller than they were previously.
