I recall having a slow Black Friday – Cyber Monday weekend on Ebay while people bought new items from big retailers. I did have a good week until today though. Just wondering if others are getting cha-ching noises this weekend.

I have not heard that noise on 10 days. 3 Weeks ago all sales came to a near halt. From 20 a month to 2 a month for me. Something is wrong with eBay – I really think their search engine is corrupt somehow.

Slow for us too today. I think we say this every year. Black Friday is when people are out buying new flat screen TV’s 🙂

Strangely, I’m not doing that bad.
7 on Wednesday
2 on Thanksgiving
3 so far todayI am running a Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday +/- sort of sale, but not all the items that have sold are reduced in price. I’ve also been sending offers a few times a day since I figured this is when people are off work and are shopping.
Not sure why I would be doing so well. Many times, my store is down in the dumps when other people are doing well. Just a coincidence, I think.

Early this week was crazy – lots of stuff flying off the shelf, and thankfully bigger ticket items, too. I was expecting things to crash and stay dead for a while TBH. On Tuesday I cranked up the handling time and had a few more sales that day and Wednesday. Felt good to let the store go on autopilot for a while, but sales are definitely dead now. Did have 3 returns opened this week – 1 already closed (buyer solved the problem), another for “changed mind”, and another for a car part that didn’t fit. Better than a return for straight-up defective, though.

Currently at 14 sales on my main Ebay store for today. 1 sale on my 2nd Ebay store. No sales on Etsy today, but a few items have gotten likes.
No Ebay sales in the past 3 hours. I’m hoping more people continue to shop overnight when they’re back home and bored after shopping at the mall.

I’m on extended handling mode as I’m out of town for the holiday weekend. My 880 listing store had one sale on Thanksgiving and one on Black Friday. I usually average 50-60 sales a month minimum so yeah, crickets for me so far. I am sending out offers while I’m gone trying to spur some sales.

Really slow, as expected with my product line.

Surprisingly good sales for me so far this weekend. On Wednesday I had zero sales, Wednesday was the first day in a long time for me with no sales in a 24 hour period. So I was expecting poor sales over Thanksgiving weekend – especially since I haven’t listed anything since Tuesday. I haven’t had a crazy huge amount of items sell since Wednesday but my high dollar items have sold so that’s been wonderful!

It seemed very slow, but I guess we sold 21 items Thurs-Sat. Gross $832.
I think the reason it felt so slow was that $335(40%) of that was from 1 cat sculpture I listed Thursday and sold Friday. 10 items $20 or less.
