I finally found an app that lets me batch convert photos to square format!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/batch-resize/id917394599?mt=8Works great. Just pick the photos you want to convert, pick the bottom option that shows the white bars on the top and bottom of photo, and choose whatever square pixel rate you want. My iphone always has the long side at 4052, so I put 4052 for width and height.
It adds white borders to the short side of every photo and leaves the already square photos alone. Super fast and easy.

There are desktop and web based programs that batch process. You typically gotta know a little about what you are doing though. I take all my photos on my phone though, so now being able at the end of a photo session be able to bulk change all my photos to square is a game changer when it comes to poshmark.
It takes me less than a minute to set it up and then I just let it chug through all the photos and it dumps them all in a new folder.
