I sold 4 items last week from multi quantity listings that I was out of stock of. GTC listings. The first 2 I shook off to me not counting properly. But when I sold a pair of shoes that I had 22 of and only 1 left I knew it wasnt me. I checked the quantity and it was reset to the full amount. Then I sold another blouse I didnt have. I ended about 60 of my listings and spent hours going through my inventory counting. I only got half way done and found 18 listings where the quantity was off. Called ebay this morning and they admit this is a glitch across all sellers not just me and has been going on for weeks. Also I sold a couple items that had free shipping when I KNOW I didnt add free shipping. I spend 25 dollars yesterday shipping a heavy electronic. Who puts free shipping on such a heavy item? Anyway they admit that that too is glitch they’ve been working on. I feel like they should have messaged all of us so we can count our inventory and check free shipping on our listings. And they made no offer to reimburse or protect me from negative feedback for these out of stock glitches. My fear is I will spend hours counting inventory and my quantities will be off again. Omg! The madness of ebay! Anyway just a heads up to all you multi quantity sellers.

Do you relist and use “sell similar”? If you do this with multi quantity listings it will always reset to the original quantity.
Also the listing page has been glitch for many months now. It doesn’t matter what my preferences are, random things are checked and unchecked when I list. I have to veryify every single checkbox and dropdown for every listing. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

Absolutely not. When I have multi quantity listings I always use GTC for that exact reason. In addition I found 6 listings that disappeared altogether. These were also GTC and the only way for them to disappear is if I deleted them. And I did not.

I actually just inventoried my candles this past weekend because I didn’t trust the quantities and I’m getting low on a few scents/sizes. I had adjust a couple by 1. That may have been my error though.
I hear you on the disappeared listings. It happens. Sometimes it can be my fault if maybe I forget to relist a return or cancellation. I keep all my emails in regards to returns or cancellations though to cross reference against and know that many of them flat out disappeared for no reason.

I think that this explains an issue I had last week. I had a purse listed, and it was the last one. However, the listing still had a few left. I went over all the purses I had from this company, and one of the other listings was off. I had figured it was my mistake, but now I’m wondering. Anyway, I just double-checked, and they are still OK.

Yep, this an ongoing problem for me. Counting and recounting and recounting. Its ridiculous. Now I have listings with missing pictures as well. I’ve also noticed when I bulk revise I click next and all the item specifics I just saw on the previous listing have transferred to the new listing Im revising. I back the hell out of there and cancel the revisions. I think the glitch monster is attacking my store hard core. I’ve heard sellers, selling items that the pictures dont match with. When I call ebay I get no where. I’ve escalated several times, always promised a call back. Never get one. 🙁

Like you I’m also missing a few listings as well as having this problem. I’ve ended my multi-quantity listings for now unless I am sure it is showing correctly. I haven’t had time to call ebay, but I’ve been advised by someone in a facebook group that there is a setting for this – resetting quantity to original at renewal. So, possibly the setting got changed. I noticed last time I listed that my preferences were gone. I mistakenly created a 7 day listing, free shipping box checked, etc. after I made something live.
