We were accepted to the beta, but they dnt make it clear if we’re in or out. How can you tell if your items is considered in the Guaranteed Shipping program?

Jay, Your main store has guaranteed shipping, the smaller store is not. the way you can find is, if you search listing by seller, it shows all their listings. after that if you click on top right “Guranteed Delivery” filter, that should confirm.
have you or other seller in this program, noticed any increase in sales?

Thanks. It’s weird that eBay doesnt show this info on the Seller Dashboard.
We have not seen any rise in sales. Its normal. We havent opted into the Free Return system yet.
Has anyone done this and seen a rise in sales?

I was shopping on Ebay yesterday and noticed at the top was delivery options 1-4 day filter. Also free returns was displayed first in the lower menu. Just wondering if anyone who is allowed to participate in guaranteed delivery or doing free returns has noticed a difference in sales? I’m on the waiting list for GD.

I believe eBay just turned Guaranteed Shipping on so that’s good!
I see the little banner under listings that provide the service.
Not soon enough to know if sales are higher because of it.I checked one of our listings that should be in it. It’s not.
We offer Economy and Expedited Shipping.
Does Expedited Shipping have to be the first choice offered?

I see this is a requirement:
http://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/shipping/guaranteed-delivery.html#eligible-carriers-services-htI assume you only need to have one of thees options turned?
We have FedEx Smart Post (not on the list), but also USPS Priority as the second shipping option. -

Yes – you only need to have one of the options in your listing. The buyer will see ‘guaranteed delivery available.’
Guaranteed delivery is on the seller dashboard under ‘performance’ tab – currently mine is reading error message ‘Sorry, your status isn’t available right now. Please try again later.’
I have been taking part – no noticeable increase in sales. it is a short sample. For context – i did a search for “crown trifari” which yields 10,000 listings. switch on guaranteed delivery – it brings it down to 6 listings.
I spoke with Ebay — no known bugs — but seems to me like it is not smooth yet. To be expected. Ebay did confirm that it does not matter which order you have your shipping options — your listing will qualify so long as one of them is valid — so according to that rep anyway you should be good.

Two things I noticed in the GD FAQs that I think have changed:
For Shipping Time GD, the rules originally required that the seller print with ebay labels. the FAQ now says: “Note: eBay is temporarily waiving the eBay labels requirement for the handling time option of Guaranteed Delivery.”Also, GD requires Immediate payment on listings. The FAQs now state: “eBay will automatically set immediate payment on listings under $100 that otherwise meet all Guaranteed Delivery requirements, so you don’t have to.”

If you are going to opt into the GD program, do it now. I just found out from an Ebay rep (who completely contradicted a previous ebay rep I spoke) that it can take up to 30 days for your account to be approved and included.
