  Steven Schultz. I believe the brass owl is a handle for a fireplace tool, I’ve seen similar ones used for that purpose. Thank You for posting these videos each week, it is always educational and fun to see what you sell and for how much

  Steve – Did you adopt a new dog? I saw three in the older of the two videos.

  I purchased this Japanese tea set in a live auction for $6 several years ago, and it sold for $75. It has a few minor issues, but is in mostly very good condition. I think that the design is sort of weird which might be the bigger reason it took so long to sell. I tried to google the design thinking it might be a folk tale of some sort, but I didn’t come up with anything.
