This item is a silver plated tomato server that I sold for $17. I bought it with a set, so the cost is probably less than $1. I don’t know why I’m posting it here except that I think it is cool. A fancy server just for sliced tomatoes …
My son got this tool pouch as part of a graduating gift (part of a grant) from the VoTech high school he went to. He didn’t need it, so I sold it for $48.
This Irish linen tablecloth with napkins sold within a few days of listing for $90. This was a commission for my neighbor; another gift lying around that he and his wife never used.
These are very old bibles in Dutch; I believe antique. They are in rough shape, but sold for $28. The strange thing is that they were returned to me as undeliverable, but the buyer insists the address is correct. I resent it (changing the address slightly) on my own dime. If they come back again, I’ll just refund her. I’ve had them for several years, so I prefer that they stay sold.
This is the first of the two Boehm figurines to sell; another commission sale for my neighbor. During my research, I found a YouTube video from the guy who bought the remainder of the Boehm inventory on how to ship these properly. I had several back and forth messages from the buyer who said that he had bought several of these figurines from that guy in the video and that a few had broken in shipping. In particular, he likes this particular design, and it’s very fragile where the flower stem is connected to the base. Now, I’m nervous. I used around plastic wrap around the figurine paying particular attention to the fragile area, but keeping it loose and folding it at the top so that it was easily unwrapped. I taped the bottom to a piece of cardboard that I fit into the inner box (per the video) and then used bubblewrap instead of packing peanuts (per buyer recommendation). That box went into a bigger box with the normal packaging around it. Buyer said it arrived just fine. Whew …
A buyer asked to buy just the makeup from this kit for an offer of $75. I found that she sells each piece separately for around $75 each. I could have parted it out myself, but decided I wanted the sale more than I wanted the extra work. I do still have the two bottles to photograph and sell. Again, another commission sale.
A buyer from Texas purchased a painting and five pieces of jewelry for a total of $107. It’s nice to have someone buy multiple items, and the jewelry basically shipped for free with the painting.
