The dream of quitting your job and running an eBay business is supposed to lessen the stress of life. And it’s true in many ways. You can work on what you want to work on (as long as you’re working). You can choose your days off. You can go watch a movie in the middle of the week. You can travel anytime you want. This is the dream.
In reality, there’s a lot of stress to running your own business. And if you’re ambitious you keep adding more and more things to the pot, trying to build on success. It’s just how the mind works. We run an eBay business to have calm in our lives, but then we purposefully create stress by taking on new projects. If one thing is successful, maybe this other thing will work too. Go figure.
Last week someone mentioned that criminals use eBay to launder money and sell illegal items. Check out this Gizmoto article.
Hope you had a good week.
