Hey Steve, I have those exact same metal LP holders, only mine don’t seem to be in quite the same good condition as yours. Mine are full of those sleeveless Columbia Records. I’ve been thinking of whether to sell them as just the holders, or full of old records. I believe there’s absolutely no value in LPs that are not in the original covers. These only have those “inner sleeve” type covers. I’ll probably have to sell them for crafting purposes. Glad I have a ballpark for the holders, though!
Thanks to you, I sold this Discwasher set for $39.99. It was only 3/4 full. It was a consignment for a widow.
This really neat cordless drill set sold in a matter of days. I got an offer of $45, which I would have accepted, but the guy paid full price before I got to him. He also left a rude message about wanting a refund if it didn’t work. I channelled J&R and sent him a polite email that he was welcome to return it for a full refund if he had any problems.
Here’s a BOLO. The Aris Allen dance shoes are high ticket items. This women’s pair of Oxford’s would have gone for more if they’d been in better condition. I saw them sold for $50+. I accepted an offer of $15.
This was a fun little sale because I remember these from my childhood. Paid .50 and thought it might go as a prop but it went to Ohio. http://www.ebay.com/itm/332176975514
Anyone recognize these of SL fame? I paid $1 each at a weird storage locker liquidator thrift store. No cups. http://www.ebay.com/itm/332124299823 People like the octogon pattern.
I sold some upholstery fabric to a buyer in CA who had just opened an account. She wanted a cheaper shipping rate, so I explained how to select FedEx Smartpost. It shipped May 3 and still isn’t there. Bought for $1.50, sold for $27: http://www.ebay.com/itm/182296001341
I bought an auction lot of vintage copper items (in not great condition), so I grouped a bunch of items into one lot. Paid a dollar or two & sold for $22 through GPS to Canada. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182556540032
I visited my parents last month, and my dad gave me some unopened proxybrush refills that he no longer used. Sold this one for $28: http://www.ebay.com/itm/182548901377

Steve, I totally do the same thing with my printing labels. It’s so convenient! Here’s some of my sales from last week. Not a great week, but I’ll take it.
This sale really surprised me. I got these Christmas tree ornaments with a whole lot of other old Christmas stuff, along with a WHOLE LOT of other junk for $7 total. I’ve had watchers on them since before Christmas when I thought they would surely sell, but the holidays came and went with no sale. Then to my surprise, someone bought them last Sunday. It goes to show that you shouldn’t take your seasonal stuff down. They sold for $20. Shiny Brite Christmas Ornaments
Here’s my highest sale of the week. This Kodak Darkroom Kit came to .22 cents from a box lot that I only paid $2 for. The outer box was pretty messed up, but the contents were pristine, unused and complete. Some previously sold for around $40 or 50 but incomplete. I priced mine high and took a best offer of $70. 1943 Kodak Darkroom Kit
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been experimenting with hardware here lately. I bought a large lot of the stuff not too long ago at an auction for kind of a high price of $50. But inside were a bunch of these beautiful ebony and brass teardrop drawer pulls. I cleaned them up, polished the brass a little and listed them individually (except a matching set of 6 that sold almost overnight for $55). This individual draw pull sold for $15. The same guy who bought it bought another one earlier this week too for the same price. I’ll be looking out for these for now on. Ebony and Brass Drawer Pull
Here’s a sale that I was really happy for. I thought I overpaid for this Jadeite Fire King tea cup set for $30. I had lots of watchers for months but no bites. Finally, I got a reasonable BO of $65, so I almost doubled my money after fees. They really are quite pretty, but I’ve since learned to mostly be on the look out for the heavier restaurant-ware jadeite. That stuff sells very well! Fire King Jadeite Tea Cup Set
I tried to view this video, but the audio was all garbled. I opened up in YouTube to see if there would be a difference, but the issue was still there.
Update: Nevermind. It was a computer problem. I restarted and all is good.
