What a beautiful vintage cast iron pot that I sold for $90. Too bad I didn’t know how to pack it and it shattered!
People email us all kinds of questions about selling on eBay. Questions are good, but every single person will have problems when they start their store no matter how much info they have. It’s inevitable. We should know because we made so many mistakes the first 18 months as sellers. Selling a single item on eBay is easy. Creating a pipeline that makes you a living is challenging.
In this podcast, we break down where we went wrong in the beginning. But since we’re fast learners, we also highlight all the strategies that have helped us build a successful full time store over the past six years.
So let’s all talk about our mistakes. You know what to do in the comments. Be sure not to make the mistakes we made- order a Digital Scale (large or small) and use a laser printer with to print your postage on ebay. Don’t be afraid to upgrade your camera- we use the Panasonic GH series with 20mm pancake lens, but also love the series. Also, BUBBLE WRAP!
